Manufacturing Quality Process Engineer
Location: Woking, Surrey
Contract: 6 months (Possible Extensions)
Rate: £46.31 per hour Umbrella
An established automotive engineering company based in Woking is continuing to expand its team and is looking for an experienced Manufacturing Quality Process Engineer to support its manufacturing operations.
In this role, you will play a key part in maintaining and improving manufacturing quality, ensuring processes are robust, compliant, and capable of consistently delivering high-quality products.

You will be responsible for:
- Developing and maintaining Control Plans and PFMEAs
- Leading 8D, 5 Why and Root Cause Analysis
- Managing process and torque audits
- Investigating and driving non-conformances through to resolution
- Implementing and verifying manufacturing quality changes
- Analysing quality data and identifying opportunities for improvement
- Working closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, Quality and Launch teams
We're looking for someone with:

- Previous automotive manufacturing or quality engineering experience
- Strong experience with Control Plans and PFMEA
- Proven experience using 8D, 5 Why and Root Cause Analysis
- Knowledge of IATF 16949, APQP, PPAP and Lean Manufacturing
- Experience with engineering drawings and GD&T
- Strong problem-solving and stakeholder management skills
