What to Expect
As a Manufacturing Quality Senior Skilled Inspector, you will play a key role within the Manufacturing Quality team, ensuring that all vehicles and components used in production meet McLaren’s exacting quality standards.
You will inspect and validate parts, identify deviations, and work closely with production and support teams to resolve issues and maintain consistent product quality. Your expertise will directly contribute to the delivery of world‑class sports cars and supercars.
You will be required to review trending data and take a proactive approach to resolving issues, working closely with both internal and external stakeholders to drive effective solutions.
What You'll Do
- Inspect manufacturing areas to ensure outputs meet planned requirements, documenting any deviations within the Quality Management System.
- Collaborate with production and support teams to resolve quality issues efficiently.
- Use precision measuring tools and testing equipment to verify dimensions, tolerances, and performance.
- Support daily Quality meetings and contribute to problem‑solving discussions.
- Maintain accurate data within Excel and Quality Management Systems.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality, reduce defects, and improve efficiency.
- Provide feedback and recommendations to improve inspection processes.
- Engage in ongoing training to stay current with inspection techniques and industry best practices.
- Provide cover and support for the Team Leader role when required to support production in delivering high‑quality vehicles.

What You'll Bring
- Experience working in a quality, manufacturing, or process‑driven environment.
- Strong understanding of process instructions and quality standards, with the ability to apply them effectively.
- High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Effective communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team or independently when required.
