We currently have an excellent opportunity to join the PCF (Precision Casting Facility) team as the Manufacturing Services Leader.

The PCF completes complex casting, chemical processing, inspection and finishing processes for aerospace grade components for use on OE and aftermarket engines.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Services Leader you will:

  • Implement the Company Health, Safety and Environment policy in all aspects of Manufacturing Services, understanding and deploying all legislative requirements and control standards through effective communication, processes and actions that support safe and compliant workplaces and equipment
  • Use in-depth knowledge to support development and delivery of functional strategy and drive process improvement
  • Provide technical coaching, leadership and direction to teams within Manufacturing Services
  • Collaborate widely within Manufacturing Services and across other functions to deliver business objectives
  • Solve complex problems and influence the way others solve problems in their specialism; using advanced analytical thought to exercise judgement and identify innovative solutions.
  • Impact the achievement of customer, operational, project or service objectives within and outside their own team; work is guided by the policies of their business and/or function.
  • Communicate difficult concepts and influence others including internal and external stakeholders and customers/suppliers to achieve required outcomes.
  • Investigate and work with communities of practice to identify and build upon current good practice to design, develop and implement processes to ensure a standard approach to Manufacturing Services activity.
  • Understand the IT systems we use to drive our management and leadership activity. Competent in the use of the tools to manage manufacturing services performance. Communicates to the team using Digital tools, and able to communicate digital strategy and use of innovative technology.

Preferred Requirements

  • Demonstrated leadership whilst embracing behaviours that inspire team working and simplicity
  • Good working knowledge/expertise in Manufacturing Service technical competence(s)
  • Proven track record delivering business results.
  • Takes responsibility for own development with particular focus on leadership skills with attendance of leadership development programmes.
  • Led transformation projects and familiar with continuous improvement methodologies such as six sigma and lean (Green and/or Black belt desirable but not mandatory).
