Lead the administration, support, adoption, and continuous improvement of McLaren’s manufacturing digital platforms. Balance technical ownership of core manufacturing solutions — including MES/MOM, DELMIA Apriso, integrations to 3DEXPERIENCE, SAP, Azure, and Microsoft Fabric — with business-facing support that enables effective use across manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and engineering teams. Align platform capability, supplier delivery, stakeholder priorities, and adoption plans to the strategic roadmap for connected, digitized factories.
What You'll Do
- Working command of ISA-95 / IEC 62264 information models, Purdue model principles, and unified-namespace or event-driven integration patterns.
- Track record of supporting business users, improving adoption, coordinating training or communications, and embedding digital solutions into operational ways of working.
- Experience managing stakeholders, suppliers, service performance, delivery plans, risks, dependencies, and budgets in line with a strategic technology roadmap.
- Experience leading, coaching, and developing a small technical or business-facing team, including workload prioritization, performance support, capability development, and alignment to delivery objectives.
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, Fabric, manufacturing analytics, OPC UA, MQTT/Sparkplug B, ISA-99 / IEC 62443, SAFe, ITIL, or TOGAF would be advantageous.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
