Manufacturing Team Leader

We’re looking for an experienced Manufacturing Team Leader to join a busy production environment. This is a hands-on role suited to someone with previous shop-floor manufacturing experience who is technically minded and confident supporting and leading a team.

The Role:

  • Supervise and motivate a team to meet daily production targets.
  • Plan and allocate work across the production team.
  • Provide technical support and help resolve production issues.
  • Read and interpret drawings, specifications and build requirements.
  • Monitor quality, productivity and production schedules.
  • Ensure health & safety procedures and quality standards are followed.
  • Support training, onboarding and development of team members.
  • Work closely with other departments to resolve issues and maintain delivery times.
  • Identify opportunities to improve production processes and reduce waste.
  • Assist with quality checks, rework and corrective actions.

About You:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Experience supervising or leading a team.
  • Technically minded with good problem-solving skills.
  • Comfortable reading and interpreting technical drawings and specifications.
  • Strong understanding of health & safety and quality standards.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
