Job Title: Manufacturing Supervisor
Location: Swadlincote

Linkster Recruitment is proud to work with a successful and growing manufacturing client located in Swadlincote. We are looking for a skilled Night Shift Manufacturing Supervisor to join their team in a permanent capacity.
Main Duties:
As the Manufacturing Supervisor, your responsibilities will include:
- Oversee the daily operations of the night shift in collaboration with the Day Shift Production Manager.
- Manage a team of approximately 45-60 manufacturing operatives, including Team Leaders, while fostering a productive work environment.
- Focus on achieving productivity targets while handling key responsibilities such as health and safety, staff allocation, absenteeism management, and conflict resolution.
- Execute daily production plans for your assigned areas, offering support and adaptability as needed.
- Ensure optimal use of direct operators to maximise production output and meet daily targets.
- Promote performance, efficiency, and profitability within the night shift team.
- Focus on absence control, health and safety, and Continuous Improvement initiatives.
- Inspire and motivate your team to maintain a positive and productive atmosphere.

Requirements:
- At least 5 years of progressive experience in manufacturing, with a minimum of 2 years in a supervisory or management role.
- Strong understanding of Lean/Six Sigma principles and Continuous Improvement processes.
- Previous experience in the Aerospace or Automotive industry is essential.
- A good standard of education, with strong literacy and numeracy skills, able to compose reports effectively.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and familiar with Forth Shift (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
- Experience with ERP systems and capable of preparing documents for seamless handover to day shifts.
- Candidates should be able to perform under pressure while exhibiting excellent interpersonal skills.

Additional Details:
- Shifts: Sunday to Thursday, 21:00 to 04:40
- Salary: Competitive, ranging from £40,000 to £45,000 depending on experience + Shift Allowance of £4,600 per annum
- Overtime: Opportunities available, capped at £5,000 per annum
- Bonus: Quarterly bonuses of £250
