MANUFACTURING SUPERVISOR

📍 Bridlington, East Yorkshire
💷 £36,000 per annum + Bonus
🕒 4 on 4 off shift pattern, 6:00am to 6:00pm

Bee Health is looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Manufacturing Supervisor to join our growing manufacturing team. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced production or manufacturing professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys leading people, driving performance, and delivering operational excellence.

As Manufacturing Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring production plans are achieved safely, efficiently, and right first time while developing and supporting your team to reach their full potential.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

  • Leading and motivating manufacturing teams to achieve production, quality and safety targets.
  • Ensuring products are produced on time, to specification and right first time.
  • Supporting the Manufacturing Assistant Manager with the day-to-day running of the department.
  • Managing staffing levels, resources and work allocation across the shift.
  • Conducting daily team briefings and shift handovers.
  • Driving continuous improvement, lean manufacturing initiatives and efficiency projects.
  • Maintaining compliance with BRC, ISO, customer and company standards.
  • Promoting a positive health and safety culture across the department.
  • Managing training, skills matrices and competency records through UKG Learning.
  • Supporting employee development through coaching, training and performance management.
  • Managing return-to-work interviews, probation reviews, appraisals and holiday planning.
  • Working closely with Planning, Quality, Engineering and other departments to deliver business objectives.

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

  • Previous supervisory or team leadership experience within a manufacturing or production environment.
  • Strong people management and communication skills.
  • A proactive and hands-on leadership style.
  • Excellent organisational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience of driving performance, quality and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to coach, motivate and develop individuals and teams.
  • Good attention to detail and commitment to high standards.
  • Experience within a regulated manufacturing environment would be advantageous.
