What to Expect
Administer, maintain and support the manufacturing execution and quality systems that run McLaren’s digitised factories — keeping DELMIA Apriso, 3DEXPERIENCE Interfaces, SAP-integrated production interfaces and associated shop-floor applications available, secure, correctly configured and performing. Provide day-to-day operational administration, configuration control and incident resolution across the Manufacturing Systems estate, working within ISA-95 integration boundaries and Purdue-model OT/IT segmentation.
- Administer DELMIA Apriso MOM solution and Interfaces to 3DEXPERIENCE, SAP and associated manufacturing OT integrations.
- Maintain system health across environments, releases and controlled change in a production-critical setting.
- Operate within ITIL-aligned service management processes, supporting incident, problem, change, configuration and release management.
- Work within ISA-95, Purdue-model and OT/IT security boundaries to ensure availability, integrity and safe operation of manufacturing systems.
What You'll Do
- Perform system, environment and configuration management across development, test and production, including process, screen and workflow configuration in Apriso.
- Assess, schedule and implement controlled changes with appropriate rollback plans, keeping configuration and CMDB records accurate.
- Triage, diagnose and resolve incidents and service requests; manage problems to root cause and escalate to vendors where required.
- Plan and execute releases and deployments of MES/MOM and interface changes with minimal disruption to production operations.
- Administer interfaces and data flows between MES, ERP and the data platform, respecting ISA-95 level boundaries and monitoring integration jobs.
- Apply security, access control and patching in line with OT/IT policy, least privilege principles and ISA-99 / IEC 62443 zoning.
- Maintain runbooks, knowledge articles and administration documentation to support audit readiness and operational resilience.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
