We are looking for an experienced, hands-on Production Manager to lead our manufacturing operations. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated leader who thrives in a fast-paced production environment and enjoys developing people, improving processes, and delivering operational excellence.
Reporting directly to the Head of Manufacturing & Supply Chain, you will lead a team of approximately 15 production employees, ensuring production targets, quality standards, and customer delivery commitments are consistently achieved.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the daily operations of the production department.
- Manage, coach, and develop a team of approximately 15 production employees.
- Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure production schedules are achieved while maintaining the highest quality standards.
- Drive productivity, efficiency, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor production performance through KPIs and implement corrective actions where required.
- Work closely with Procurement, Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to ensure smooth production flow.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 13485, company procedures, and Health & Safety requirements.
- Lead daily production meetings and resource planning.
- Manage labour allocation, attendance, performance, and employee development.
- Identify production risks and implement effective solutions.
- Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.

What We're Looking For
Essential
- Previous experience in a Production lead, Manufacturing lead, or Operations Lead role.
- Proven experience leading teams of 20–50 employees within a manufacturing environment.
- Strong production planning and scheduling experience.
- Excellent people management and leadership skills.
- Ability to analyse production performance and make data-driven decisions.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel and ERP/MRP systems.
Desirable
- Experience within Medical Device, Electronics, Precision Manufacturing, or Automotive industries.
- Knowledge of ISO 13485 or other regulated manufacturing environments.
- Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or Continuous Improvement experience.
- Experience implementing operational improvements and process optimization.
