Manufacturing Team Leader (Bishop's Stortford) – Development Opportunity
4 days on, 4 days off 7am-7pm
Fixed Term Contract until June 2027

We're looking for a motivated, people-focused Manufacturing Team Leader to join our team! This is an exciting development opportunity for someone looking to build their leadership skills and progress towards a Shift Manager role.
You'll play a key role in supporting and motivating our manufacturing team, ensuring we produce high-quality, food-safe desserts while maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality and efficiency.

What you'll be doing:
- Supporting, coaching and developing team members to reach their full potential.
- Promoting a strong food safety and health & safety culture.
- Driving production performance across safety, quality, cost and output.
- Ensuring team members are fully trained, confident and equipped to succeed.
- Creating a positive, friendly and respectful working environment.
- Gaining valuable leadership experience, including covering for the Shift Manager when required.
What we're looking for:
- At least 2 years' experience in the FMCG food manufacturing industry.
- Good knowledge of food manufacturing processes, food safety and health & safety requirements.
- Strong communication and people management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire others.
- A proactive problem-solver with a results-driven mindset.
- The ability to interpret data and use it to improve production performance.
- A positive attitude, openness to new ideas and the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
