Working pattern: You will be on a specific shift pattern, creating great opportunities to collaborate, strengthen team connections, and build high-impact working relationships face to face.

The Recipe (About the Role)

A visible, present on the factory floor (for 80% of the time) with the team, leader whose role is to support the shift manager (and deputise for the shift manager) to manage the safe production process from incoming material to finished goods through brilliant factory floor team leadership ensuring the safety, quality, productivity, cost, delivery & engagement for the key performance indicators are achieved.

  • Ensure compliance with legal, food safety, health, environmental, and people policies
  • Monitor KPI targets and results for the team
  • Provide direct line management for the allocated team, excluding grievance or disciplinary meetings
  • Guide the team to meet objectives through coaching and operational standards adherence
  • Oversee training and development to maintain necessary skills and coverage
  • Effectively deploy resources and skills to achieve results
  • Manage the daily Management Operating System (MOS)
  • Support improvement projects using collaborative tools and processes, fostering continuous improvement
  • Refer to the Team Leader RACI document for detailed roles and responsibilities

The Ingredients (What we need from you)

Key Know How:

  • Some Team Management experience in a FMCG environment or similar
  • Working knowledge of Business Improvement tools and techniques
  • IOSH managing safety or willing to work towards
  • Manual Handling
  • Health and Safety Awareness
  • Alignment to Weetabix values
  • Always curious to finding new ways to do business!
  • The ability to demonstrate how you keep up to date in your field of expertise

Desirable Skills:

  • Working knowledge of D365
  • Level 3 Food Safety and HACCP
