Job Description Summary

We are looking for a motivated and detail-focused Manufacturing Team Member to join our team in Stafford. This role is essential to supporting the production of high-quality electro-mechanical products, ensuring assembly, inspection, and testing activities are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest standards.

You will play a key role in helping the business achieve production targets while maintaining a strong focus on quality, safety, and continuous improvement through the application of Lean manufacturing principles.

Job Description

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Following all Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) procedures and safe working practices
  • Building, testing, and repairing products in line with manufacturing plans and quality standards
  • Carrying out assembly, inspection, and testing activities using approved procedures and documentation
  • Ensuring products meet required quality standards and standard operating instructions
  • Working efficiently within defined manufacturing processes to achieve production goals
  • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives and identifying process improvements where possible
  • Performing routine workstation maintenance and supporting 5S audits
  • Contributing to productivity and operational KPIs
  • Supporting additional manufacturing duties across the facility as required
  • Working collaboratively as part of the wider manufacturing team

What We’re Looking For

Essential Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience within a manufacturing or assembly environment
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Ability to work effectively within a team-based environment
  • Good communication skills and a proactive approach to problem-solving
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions and work with minimal supervision
  • Basic understanding of Lean Manufacturing principles
  • Self-motivated with a positive and results-driven attitude
  • Right to Work in the UK

Desirable Skills & Knowledge

  • Experience working within an electro-mechanical manufacturing environment
  • Understanding of manufacturing KPIs and production targets
  • Knowledge of continuous improvement methodologies
  • Awareness of workplace safety and quality processes

Additional Information

Shift Pattern:

  • Monday to Thursday: 7am to 3.30pm
  • Friday: 7am to 12pm
