Manufacturing Technician – 12 Month Fixed-Term Contract - Shift Work

An exciting opportunity has arisen for Manufacturing Technicians to join a specialist pharmaceutical manufacturing environment on a 12 month fixed-term contract, with a strong possibility of becoming permanent. This is a fantastic role for someone who enjoys hands-on production work, thrives in a highly regulated setting, and wants to play a key part in supporting both commercial supply and clinical manufacturing activities.

This role involves a 24/7 shift pattern and so you ideally would have access to your own vehicle or live locally. There is an excellent shift allowance and benefits available.

The Role

Working as part of a production team, you will support the manufacture of high-potency pharmaceutical materials in line with cGMP requirements. The role will involve preparing manufacturing areas, operating and monitoring equipment, maintaining accurate documentation, and helping to ensure production suites remain inspection ready at all times. You will also contribute to safe working practices, stock control, sample handling, and efficient day-to-day operations across the manufacturing process.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
