Working as the Marine Electrical Site Lead you will:
- Lead six to twelve personnel and own the job from mobilisation through testing and handover.
- Supervise site teams, manage permits, tests, and documentation, liaise with clients and ships staff, and drive safe, efficient installation with FAT/SAT and commissioning support.

- Supervise site teams and the allocation of daily work
- Conduct toolbox talks and coordinate RAMS
- Manage permits, isolations and safe systems of work
- Confirming drawings and cable schedules match the installation
- Monitoring workmanship, cable identification and termination quality
- Coordinating tools, test equipment and materials
- Recording progress, delays, variations and client instructions
- Liaising with the clients & ships staff
- Coordinating testing under an approved test procedure
- Supporting commissioning, harbour acceptance and sea trials
- Preparing daily progress reports and approving team timesheets
- Completing handover and punch-list documentation
Qualifications and requirement for the Marine Electrical Site Lead:
- Marine, offshore, shipyard or heavy-industrial electrical experience.
- Experience supervising electricians and technicians.
- Strong LV knowledge, preferably with some MV experience.
- Switchboard, MCC, MCCB/ACB, transformer and distribution-system experience.
- Power and control cable installation, glanding and termination experience.
- Familiarity with generators, drives, motors and temporary vessel power.
- Experience working from schematics, cable schedules and general-arrangement drawings.
- FAT, SAT, commissioning and fault-finding experience.
- Knowledge of isolation, permit-to-work and LOTO procedures.
- Experience liaising with vessel engineers, clients, class surveyors and subcontractors.
