Marine Electricians Wanted – BAE Systems (Glasgow)
12-Month PAYE Contract | Type 26 Frigate Project | Immediate Start
Join a world-class defence project with BAE Systems, working on the cutting-edge Type 26 Frigates for the Royal Navy. Based in Glasgow, this is a fantastic opportunity for experienced electricians to contribute to a prestigious build in a secure and long-term role.

💷 PAYE Rates:
- Glasgow Shift Patterns Hourly Rate
- Standard shift £20.80 or non-local £28.80
- Weekend & Nightshift £27.66 or non-local £33.79
🔧 Responsibilities:
- Installation, maintenance, and testing of electrical systems on naval vessels
- Reading and working from detailed technical drawings and wiring diagrams
- Cable pulling, terminations, and general marine electrical works
- Ensuring work is completed to MOD standards with strict adherence to H&S
✅ Requirements:
- Recognised Electrical Apprenticeship
- Previous experience in marine, industrial, or shipbuilding environments
- Must be eligible for UK Security Clearance
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality workmanship
