We are currently recruiting for a Maritime Engineer with experience on Maritime Vessels to join a UK GOV authority, on a 6 months rolling contract in Portchester (on site work – 5 days/ week).

About the role:

Provide professional overview of vessel operational performance and forward look of vessel maintenance planning, escalating issues to senior managers and presenting solutions.

Level of Clearance:

Counter Terrorism Check (CTC) – Candidates holding Active Clearance can benefit of a quick start date

What You Will Gain

Essential Skills

  • Marine Engineer, Chief Engineer or Equivalent Experience
  • Knowledge of working in an engineering capacity, with or on maritime vessels (ideally different vessels)
  • Project Management experience
  • STCW certificate of competency STCW III/2 or STCW III/3.
  • Working knowledge of Class, Flag, IMO, SOLAS, MARPOL, the ISM Code and ISO requirements
