Insight Global are seeking a Marine Talent Sourcer

Insight Global are seeking a Marine Talent Sourcer for a leading organisation within the marine and maritime sector.

This opportunity requires 4 days onsite per week in Weybridge, UK, with Monday to Thursday onsite and Friday remote.

Role Overview

The Marine Talent Sourcer will play a key role in supporting Recruiters and Senior Recruiters by identifying, attracting, and building talent pipelines for marine, offshore, maritime, engineering, and technical positions globally. Working closely with recruitment teams, you will proactively source skilled professionals, conduct candidate screening, maintain talent pools, support talent mapping initiatives, and contribute innovative sourcing strategies to attract high-quality candidates for hard-to-fill positions.

Must-Have Requirements

  • Dedicated sourcing/resourcing experience within a recruitment agency environment.
  • Experience sourcing candidates across marine, offshore, maritime, engineering, shipbuilding, or industrial sectors.
  • Strong CV screening and candidate shortlisting capabilities.
  • Experience supporting recruiters by building and maintaining talent pipelines across multiple vacancies.
  • Demonstrated ability to source candidates using LinkedIn Recruiter, job boards, Boolean searches, referrals, and talent mapping techniques.
  • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Self-motivated, proactive, and solution-oriented approach to sourcing challenges.

Plusses

  • Experience sourcing skilled trades and technical professionals such as Marine Engineers, Mechanical Engineers, Electrical Engineers, Electricians, Plumbers, Maintenance Engineers, Technicians, or similar disciplines.
  • Experience introducing new sourcing strategies, talent pools, or creative talent attraction initiatives.
  • Experience supporting high-volume recruitment environments across multiple business units or brands.
  • Passion for talent acquisition, sourcing excellence, and long-term career progression within recruitment.
  • Experience producing sourcing reports and maintaining CRM or ATS records.

Key Responsibilities

  • Source, identify, and engage qualified candidates across marine engineering and technical disciplines.
  • Build and maintain talent pipelines for current and future hiring needs.
  • Review and screen large volumes of applications to identify high-quality candidates.
  • Conduct talent mapping and market research activities.
  • Support Recruiters and Senior Recruiters across multiple concurrent hiring projects.
  • Maintain accurate candidate records within CRM and applicant tracking systems.
  • Produce sourcing metrics and pipeline reports.
  • Develop innovative sourcing approaches to uncover passive and hard-to-reach talent.
  • Collaborate closely with recruitment teams to support hiring objectives and recruitment delivery.
