Role Objectives:

The WEP Clinical Market Access Consultant will lead key client programs alongside the senior Market Access team, focusing on strategic consulting and ex-US funding access initiatives in markets such as France, Italy, and Switzerland. The Consultant will serve as the primary point of contact for client engagements, delivering integrated solutions across pricing, market access, patient access, data collection, product supply, and regulatory support, as needed.

As a strategic partner to clients, the Consultant will collaborate closely with WEP’s cross-functional teams to develop high-value solutions that support both Market Access objectives and broader company goals. The role also includes building an industry network, identifying new business opportunities, and supporting Business Development efforts through client presentations and tailored proposals aligned with international patient and Market Access needs.

What You'll Do:

  • Partner with the WEP Business Development team to train and enable lead generation by articulating WEP’s integrated Market Access and Funded NPP services.
  • Develop high-impact Market Access presentations and present to prospective and existing clients on WEP’s Market Access and Funded NPP offerings following lead identification.
  • Work with senior Market Access leadership to assess client requirements, define project scope, and structure Market Access programmes to ensure successful delivery.
  • Lead research, analysis, reporting, and pricing due diligence to support client needs assessment, programme design, and proposal development.
  • Own client proposal development, ensuring credible, comprehensive, and client-aligned analysis that supports decision-making and programme approval.
  • Develop and manage detailed workstream project plans, including objectives, deliverables, timelines, budgets, stakeholder alignment, and client engagement plans.
  • Lead client meetings and cross-functional WEP teams to provide project updates, advise on patient access and market access strategy, and manage stakeholder expectations.
  • Manage end-to-end delivery of Market Access programmes in line with statements of work, including communications, reporting, issue resolution, and coordination with external partners.
  • Provide strategic, actionable insights and recommendations to support clients’ development and commercialisation strategies, including Early Access Programmes, asset profiles, competitor landscaping, and price and reimbursement negotiations.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with WEP teams (including Finance) to ensure smooth programme execution, accurate invoicing, successful project delivery, repeat business, and WEP representation at key congresses.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a scientific discipline and/or an MSc in Health Economics
  • 5+ years of consulting or relevant business experience in Market Access, reimbursement, pricing, and/or health economics, or an equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Proven experience in Market Access dossier development and pricing analysis
  • Demonstrated ability to work cross-functionally with internal teams and external stakeholders
  • Experience developing clear, compelling slides and materials for client presentations
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Self-motivated, adaptable, and results-driven, with a high level of enthusiasm and professionalism
  • Fluency in English required; proficiency in an additional European language is an asset
  • Strong interest in medical research, healthcare delivery, and the pharmaceutical industry
