About You 👤
- Suitably located for assigned territory (South of England + South Wales).
- Demonstrated experience in a UK market access field-based role, including the successful launch of pharmaceutical products within the UK healthcare system.
- Proven ability to identify, engage, and influence clinical leaders and key stakeholders to support the appropriate adoption of medicines and overcome barriers to patient access.
- Strong ability to interpret and communicate complex clinical, scientific, and health economic data effectively in customer interactions.
- Sound understanding of how national and local NHS priorities, healthcare policies, and commissioning drivers influence healthcare delivery, patient access, and women's health services.
- Knowledge and experience within Women's Health is desirable.
- Experience developing and implementing integrated market access plans that align local execution with national strategy.
- Ability to engage customers effectively through a blend of face-to-face and virtual interactions, delivering agreed objectives and outcomes.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent.
- ABPI qualified, with a comprehensive understanding of the ABPI Code of Practice, relevant industry regulations, and their practical application within a commercial healthcare environment.
- Strong networking, interpersonal, communication, and influencing skills, with the ability to work effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and general business systems.
- Full UK driving licence.

About The Role 🧭
To develop and execute local market access strategies across the assigned territory by building trusted partnerships with NHS stakeholders, identifying and addressing barriers to patient access, and supporting the appropriate adoption, commissioning and formulary inclusion of Theramex medicines in line with local healthcare priorities and the ABPI Code of Practice.
Key Duties and Responsibilities 📌
- Develop and execute local market access plans across assigned NHS accounts, Integrated Care Systems (ICSs), and Health Boards, aligning activities with national strategy.
- Identify opportunities and barriers to patient access, developing evidence-based solutions in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.
- Map local decision-making structures, formulary processes, treatment pathways, and commissioning mechanisms to inform market access strategies.
- Build a deep understanding of NHS priorities, healthcare system objectives, and service delivery challenges across the territory.
- Generate, analyse, and communicate actionable payer and stakeholder insights to support business planning and market access strategy development.
- Support the local implementation of national and regional market access initiatives.
- Establish and maintain effective relationships with key NHS stakeholders, including medicines optimisation teams, formulary committees, pharmacists, commissioners, healthcare professionals, and other payer decision-makers.
- Identify and engage clinical leaders, advocates, and key opinion leaders to gain insights into local pathways, unmet patient needs, and implementation challenges.
- Facilitate appropriate scientific and healthcare system discussions that support the understanding and adoption of therapeutic innovations.
- Develop long-term partnerships with healthcare stakeholders, focused on improving patient outcomes and healthcare system efficiency.
- Represent Theramex professionally and credibly within the local healthcare environment.
- Support formulary and commissioning processes through compliant stakeholder engagement and the provision of approved information.
- Contribute to market access activities associated with new product launches.
- Support local implementation planning to help ensure timely patient access to newly available therapies.
- Collaborate closely with Medical Affairs, Commercial, Compliance, Global Market Access, and other cross-functional teams to deliver integrated customer engagement plans.
- Provide local market intelligence and stakeholder insights to support evidence generation, access planning, and business strategy development.
