About The Role

Reporting to the PAMA & Strategic Healthcare Manager, the Market Access Manager will drive growth across Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. The role focuses on identifying strategic opportunities, building high-value partnerships, and influencing key decision-makers across Health Boards and wider health and social care systems.

Working closely with PAMA, Marketing, Sales and Commercial Development teams, the successful candidate will develop and deliver strategic plans that create measurable business impact across the devolved nations.

What You Will Do

  • You will lead market access and reimbursement activities across the devolved nations, developing and delivering strategic Health Board account plans.
  • Influencing healthcare decision-makers and Key Opinion Leaders to improve patient access.
  • You will partner across teams to deliver pricing, evidence and market access initiatives and build strong stakeholder relationships to drive sustainable growth.
  • You'll collaborate with Health Boards, procurement teams, medicines management leads, clinical decision-makers, government stakeholders and Key Opinion Leaders, while working closely with Sales, Marketing, Clinical, Tender and Contracts and Market Access colleagues.
  • You will navigate complex healthcare systems and decision-making pathways, expanding Essity's presence across the devolved nations, whilst aligning internal and external stakeholders to deliver customer-focused solutions.

Who You Are

  • Understanding of the devolved nations health and social care market
  • Strong commercial awareness
  • Ability to write business cases, project briefs and gain engagement with key stakeholders
  • A track record of delivering innovative solutions to internal and external business groups
  • Best in class planning and leadership capabilities
  • Proven experience of operating in a Healthcare Partnership capacity and driving value
  • Excellent presentation, communication and project management skills
  • PRINCE2 qualification is desirable
