Market Analyst & Report Writer

About the Role

INPUT is a global PR and communications agency working across emerging technology, including crypto, blockchain, fintech, payments, stablecoins, digital assets, and AI.

We’re looking for a Market Analyst & Report Writer to create data-driven industry reports for our clients, using proprietary data and market insights to develop compelling research, uncover strong news angles, and support meaningful media coverage.

You’ll own the report creation process end-to-end, from identifying and developing a compelling topic through research and analysis, to writing, editing, and final delivery based on client feedback. You’ll also work closely with our designers to bring each report through to final publication.

Alongside longer-form reports, you’ll produce expert market commentary and analytical quotes for clients in response to breaking news and media opportunities.

This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys combining market analysis with strong editorial thinking and understands how research can become a compelling story.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop report concepts and topics in collaboration with clients, based on their business objectives, PR goals, available data, and target audiences.
  • Identify data points, trends, statistics, and insights that can form strong news angles and generate media interest.
  • Turn proprietary client data and wider market information into clear, compelling, data-driven industry reports.
  • Own the report-writing process from initial outline through research, analysis, writing, editing, client feedback, and final approval.
  • Conduct additional market research and source credible external data where needed to provide context and strengthen findings.
  • Work directly with clients to understand their objectives, discuss findings, incorporate feedback, and refine reports through to final delivery.
  • Identify the PR potential of research findings and develop editorial angles that support both media interest and the client’s broader business and communications objectives.
  • Collaborate with our PR and design teams throughout the report development and publication process.
  • Produce expert commentary, market analysis, and analytical quotes in response to breaking news and media requests, often within 2-5 hours.
  • Translate complex market developments and data into concise, accessible commentary suitable for journalists and business and technology media.
  • Stay up to date with major developments, trends, narratives, and data across relevant industries.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
