✨ We’re Hiring: Market Coach – Midlands | Splendid Hospitality Group ✨
We’re looking for an experienced Market Coach to lead the performance of our growing Quick Service Restaurant (QSR) business across the Midlands.
📍 Field-based role with regular travel across the Midlands region
This is a pivotal senior operational leadership role with full accountability for the financial, operational and people performance of your market.
- You’ll lead through others, coaching and developing Area Coaches and restaurant leadership teams while driving sales, profitability, operational excellence and an outstanding guest experience across a multi-site QSR operation.
- You’ll turn strategy into action, use insight to identify opportunities and build the capability, talent and succession needed to support long-term growth.
Working closely with our QSR leadership team, Operations and People teams, you’ll be a visible ambassador for our QSR division — bringing energy, pace and accountability while creating a high-performing culture where our people and restaurants can thrive.

🔍 The Role
You will:
- Lead the performance of multiple QSR restaurants across the Midlands, driving sales, profitability and operational excellence
- Hold full P&L responsibility for your market, managing sales, labour, product and other controllable costs
- Lead, coach and develop Area Coaches, building a high-performing leadership team
- Drive an exceptional guest experience, using insight including KFC Listens and Success Routines to identify opportunities and deliver improvement
- Own the development, training and succession of restaurant leadership teams
- Work with our People team to strengthen the talent pipeline and deliver the agreed bench plan
- Lead Period Business Reviews and Market Meetings, using data and insight to set priorities and drive accountability
- Ensure strong operational governance, compliance and health & safety standards across the market
- Build trusted relationships with senior stakeholders and represent the QSR division across the wider business
👤 About You
You’ll bring:
- Proven experience leading multiple QSR or restaurant sites, with the ability to lead through others
- Strong commercial and financial understanding, including P&L ownership and operational KPIs
- A strategic and analytical mindset, using data and insight to drive market-level performance
- Proven experience coaching and developing operational leaders and building high-performing teams
- Confidence influencing senior stakeholders, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- A highly organised, action-oriented approach with the ability to manage competing priorities
- A leadership style built on integrity, empathy, coaching and empowerment
- The resilience, agility and commercial focus to thrive in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
