📊 Data Analyst / Market Analyst – European Markets | 12-Month Contract

📍 London, King’s Cross | Hybrid

💷 £38.36 per hour PAYE + holiday pay

📅 12-month contract

🏢 Tuesday–Thursday onsite | Monday & Friday remote

We are recruiting for an experienced Data Analyst / Market Analyst to join a leading global technology and digital platform business on a 12-month contract.

This is a strategic, commercially focused analytics role supporting a European business and go-to-market function. You’ll investigate performance across different European markets, identify opportunities and challenges, and turn complex data into clear recommendations for senior stakeholders.

This is not a traditional reporting or dashboard-focused role. You’ll be given broad business questions, develop hypotheses, interrogate the data yourself and determine why something is happening and what the business should do about it.

🔎 What you'll be doing

  • Conducting market and country-level analysis across Europe, identifying performance trends, opportunities and areas requiring further investigation.
  • Comparing performance across European markets and identifying the commercial, customer or product factors driving differences.
  • Taking ambiguous business questions and developing a structured, hypothesis-led analytical approach.
  • Using SQL independently to extract, manipulate and analyse large datasets.
  • Combining quantitative analysis with qualitative stakeholder insight to understand business performance.
  • Translating complex analysis into clear insights, recommendations and action plans.
  • Presenting findings directly to senior regional and country-level stakeholders.
  • Partnering with Product, Marketing, Finance and Go-to-Market teams.
  • Owning approximately 2–3 substantial strategic analytical projects per quarter.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
