Our R&A team sits at the heart of 3di’s market intelligence. We research vendors, products, and developments across the global market data landscape, helping our clients understand what is changing, where products compete, and how the industry is evolving.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

The role is varied and includes:

  • Researching market data vendors, products, and services across a broad range of asset classes and data types
  • Creating and maintaining detailed vendor and product “tearsheets” within our Profiler platform
  • Analyzing competitive landscapes, market developments, vendor strategies, acquisitions, product launches, and industry trends
  • Producing clear, well-researched reports and analysis for clients
  • Comparing products and identifying areas of overlap, differentiation, and emerging competition
  • Supporting bespoke client research projects and market intelligence requests
  • Using new research technologies alongside traditional desk-based research to improve the speed, depth, and quality of our analysis, while applying strong judgment and rigorous quality control
  • Working with a team that is continually developing how we research and analyze a fast-changing industry

We are particularly interested in candidates who have worked in, or closely with, the market data industry and understand the vendor ecosystem. That could come from a market data vendor, financial institution, consultancy, data management, procurement, research, or a related role.

You’ll need strong research and analytical skills, excellent written English, attention to detail, and, importantly, the ability to understand what a market data product actually does and where it fits within the wider competitive landscape.

Why Join Us?

The R&A team is growing, and this is an opportunity to join at an exciting stage of its development. You’ll gain exposure to a very broad range of vendors, products, and areas of the financial information industry rather than being restricted to one particular dataset or asset class.

You’ll also have the opportunity to develop expertise in areas that are becoming increasingly important to the industry, including AI-assisted research, competitive intelligence, and the changing structure of the global market data vendor landscape.

If you know the market data industry, enjoy investigating how products and vendors fit together, and like turning complex information into clear, useful analysis, we’d love to hear from you!
