This position reports to:

Marketing & Sales Manager


Conducts proactive business development aligned with the division's strategy in countries where business conditions require increased attention and focus. Provides business support, including expertise in products, applications, solutions, and segment and customer (group) support for the assigned product portfolio, ensuring profitable business growth and sustainable deployment of the division's strategic plan.

The Division manufactures solutions for medium-voltage applications used in the utility market under its marquee brands including Elastimold™ reclosers and switchgear, capacitor switches, current limiting fuses, Homac™ distribution connectors, Hi-Tech Valiant™ full-range current limiting fuse for fire mitigation, faulted current indicators and distribution connectors, cable accessories and apparatus with products for overhead and underground distribution. Manufacturing includes made-to-stock and custom-made solutions.

For this part of the division, we need a Market Development Manager concentrating on the Medium Voltage side.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Defines, develops, and executes the strategies and business plans related to focus segments, channels, and applications for identified markets in collaboration with the Sales and Marketing teams.
  • Defines marketing and sales targets and establishes appropriate metrics and measurement tools to effectively monitor performance in the region, in collaboration with all relevant stakeholders.
  • Ensures profitable business growth focused on orders, revenues, margins, market shares, and customer satisfaction, as well as the implementation of particular product, application, and segment initiatives, in collaboration with the division stakeholders.
  • Oversee the implementation of activities for agreed cross-divisional, product group, and regional initiatives.
  • Supports the organization in the execution of product launches and customer events when required.
  • Develops and implements product support and training to ensure high customer satisfaction in collaboration with Product Management and the global team.

Qualifications for the role:

  • Technical background in Medium Voltage applications with 5 years of experience in the field of area
  • Sales skills and ability to work to budget & performance targets
  • Customer experience success, relationship building & portfolio management
  • Market intelligence & Go-to-market strategy
  • Training and coaching sales teams to success and independence
