The transition to clean energy is one of the biggest industrial shifts of our generation, and at Tonic Talent, we're helping make it happen.
At Tonic Talent, we help some of the world’s most innovative clean technology companies find the people they need to grow. Our clients operate across solar, electric vehicle charging, battery storage, green manufacturing and other rapidly expanding areas of the energy transition.
We have worked with globally recognised organisations including Tesla and LG, alongside ambitious scale-ups shaping the future of clean technology.
We're not a traditional recruitment business.
We're an award-winning, high-performance commercial business that was recently recognised as the most profitable recruitment business per head, outperforming more than 100 recruitment agencies. That success has been built by investing in ambitious people, creating an exceptional working environment and rewarding performance properly.
Now we're looking for two Sales Development Representatives to help drive the next stage of our growth.
Why Tonic?
A Global Business Means Bigger Opportunities
Unlike many recruitment businesses focused solely on the UK, Tonic operates internationally, with a significant focus on the United States the world's largest and most commercially exciting clean technology market.
Working internationally allows us to partner with larger, faster-growing organisations, generate significantly higher recruitment fees and create far greater earning opportunities for our team.
Because we work primarily with US businesses, our commercial team operates 12:00pm–8:00pm Monday to Thursday, ensuring we're speaking with senior decision-makers during their business day. Fridays offer greater flexibility, with hybrid working from home and our monthly collaboration day.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
