Schedule: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours/week

Introduction
Join CSC’s Market Team in London as a Market Director and play a senior commercial role in shaping complex client solutions and supporting growth across our international client base.
Working at the intersection of sales, service delivery, and commercial strategy, you will help lead high-value and complex opportunities from initial qualification through solution design and commercial development. You will partner with a growing team of sales consultants, sales leaders, service delivery teams, and subject matter experts to develop compelling client solutions, strengthen strategic engagements, and ensure CSC’s proposals are commercially sound and operationally deliverable.
You will primarily support two of CSC’s largest business units, Corporate and Legal Solutions (CLS) and Global Financial Services (GFS), with a particular focus on complex, multinational, and cross-border opportunities. As a member of the Market Team, you will bring commercial judgement, operational expertise, and a strong understanding of client needs to help position CSC as a trusted partner.
CSC serves a diverse international client base across more than 140 jurisdictions. You will work with colleagues and clients across countries, industries, and cultures, making international experience and additional language skills particularly valuable.
What You’ll Be Doing
- Lead the qualification and development of complex new business opportunities, ensuring alignment between client requirements, CSC’s service capabilities, commercial objectives, and delivery model.
- Shape strategic client solutions across CLS and GFS, working with sales leaders, service delivery teams, and subject matter experts to develop differentiated and commercially compelling propositions.
- Play a senior role in client engagements, bringing subject matter expertise and advising on appropriate service models, delivery approaches, and value-added solutions.
- Lead the development of strategic proposals, RFP responses, presentations, and detailed scopes of work for complex and multinational opportunities.
- Guide commercial structuring, including pricing strategy and solution design, balancing client requirements with operational feasibility and commercial sustainability.
- Act as a senior link between sales and service delivery, bringing together the appropriate stakeholders to develop solutions that can be implemented effectively across jurisdictions and business units.
- Partner with sales leadership on pipeline strategy, opportunity reviews, and win/loss analysis, identifying insights and actions that strengthen commercial performance.
- Engage and influence cross-functional stakeholders across operations, legal, compliance, technology, and other specialist teams to ensure alignment throughout the sales process and readiness for implementation.
- Facilitate cross-functional solution workshops for complex opportunities, translating client requirements into clear commercial and operational plans.
- Contribute to CSC’s market positioning through industry insight, competitor analysis, and an understanding of evolving client requirements, helping strengthen propositions and identify opportunities for growth.
- Support the development of strategic relationships with clients, prospects, intermediaries, and other business partners where appropriate.
- Maintain strong commercial discipline and visibility across opportunities through effective use of CSC’s CRM platform and associated commercial data.
- Represent the Market Team in senior internal discussions, client meetings, and regional or global forums as required.
- Travel occasionally for client meetings, industry events, and internal workshops across the EMEA region.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
