KPay Market Expansion Internship — Grow With Us From Day One

Duration

3 months, with a return offer for the right people

About KPay

KPay Group (“KPay”) is a leading fintech company committed to empowering businesses of all sizes through simple, seamless, smart and secure technology solutions. Serving more than 89,000 merchants across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, KPay helps unlock growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations, and digital transformation.

In 2024, KPay raised a record-breaking USD 55 million in its Series A funding round - the largest globally in the payments sector that year. The company has since been recognised as PayTech of the Year at the 2025 Asia FinTech Awards, selected on Forbes Asia’s 100 to Watch list in 2025 and ranked among the Singapore's Top FinTech Companies 2026 list, curated by Tech in Asia and Statista.

About the Role

This is not a fetch-coffee internship, and it's not a rigid programme with a fixed job description. It's a hands-on training ground inside a real market launch, where what you work on grows with what you're good at.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.

Only hits

No noise. No "maybe this fits." Just roles with a clear explanation of why they're right — and where to focus when applying.

What the Experience Looks Like

You won't be boxed into one function. Depending on where the launch needs energy — and where your strengths and interests point — you could find yourself working across:

  • Marketing & content — campaigns, social, event materials, brand-building in a new market
  • Partnerships & sales operations — researching and reaching out to potential partners, supporting the pipeline that builds our UK network
  • Product & market research — merchant feedback, competitor analysis, helping shape the product for the UK
  • Data & analysis — tracking what's working, building simple dashboards, turning launch numbers into decisions
  • Whatever a launch throws at us — events, operations, new ideas nobody has thought of yet

The variety is the point. In three months you'll see more of how a business actually gets built than most people see in three years of a specialised role.

How We'll Invest in You

  • Real training and mentorship — you'll work directly with KPay's expansion team and get coached, not just tasked
  • Real ownership — your work ships, gets used, and gets seen by leadership
  • Real feedback — regular check-ins on your growth, not just your output
  • A real path forward — after 3 months, we make return offers to the interns we want to keep building with. We're not hiring interns to fill seats; we're finding people who'll grow with the company.

Who We're Looking For

We care far more about potential and attitude than your CV. You should be:

  • Hungry to learn — you ask questions, absorb fast, and don't wait to be taught everything before trying
  • A builder at heart — excited by the idea of creating something from zero, comfortable when there's no playbook
  • Proactive and reliable — you take a loosely defined task and come back with something real
  • Passionate — about fintech, startups, business-building, or simply doing great work with a team you believe in

Requirements

Current student or recent graduate (any subject), with the right to work in the UK or an eligible university placement arrangement

How to Apply

Send a CV plus a few lines on what you'd be most excited to build with us. Show us your energy — that's what we're really reading for. Case study is required.
