Serving more than 95,000 merchants across Australia, Hong Kong, Japan, and Singapore, KPay helps unlock growth potential by building a one-stop platform for financial management, business operations, and digital transformation.
In 2024, KPay raised a record-breaking USD 55 million in its Series A funding round — the largest globally in the payments sector that year. About the Role
We’re looking for a Market Intelligence & Research Analyst to support KPay’s UK and wider Europe market entry through in-depth market research, competitive intelligence, and data-driven analysis. As one of the early members of KPay’s UK expansion team, you’ll play a key role in understanding the UK payments landscape, identifying high-potential merchant segments and regions, and uncovering opportunities for commercial growth.
You’ll research UK merchants, competitors, industry trends, product offerings, pricing structures, and market positioning to understand customer needs and competitive dynamics. Beyond desk research, you’ll validate assumptions through data analysis and merchant interviews, translating findings into clear, actionable recommendations on where to focus, how to position our offerings, and how to approach market expansion.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys investigating markets, connecting insights across different sources, and turning research into practical business recommendations. You’ll have the opportunity to shape KPay’s UK expansion strategy from the ground up in a fast-paced, 0-to-1 environment where your findings will directly inform commercial decisions.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
