Market & Liquidity Risk Business Analyst (VP)

Location: London (hybrid)
Contract until: March 2027
Rate: Up to £850 per day, umbrella
A global investment bank is seeking an experienced Business Analyst to deliver Market Risk and Liquidity Risk change. You’ll work with Risk, Treasury, Finance, Front Office and Technology teams on regulatory, strategic and systems initiatives.
What you’ll do
- Gather and document requirements through analysis and stakeholder workshops.
- Produce functional specifications, process flows, data mappings and user stories.
- Assess the impact of changes across risk systems, processes and data.
- Support solution design, testing, implementation and business adoption.
- Work with senior stakeholders to deliver regulatory and risk transformation projects.

What you’ll bring
- Significant business analysis experience in investment banking or capital markets.
- Strong Market Risk and/or Liquidity Risk knowledge and experience delivering regulatory or risk management change.
- Familiarity with Market Risk measures such as VaR, Expected Shortfall, stress testing, FRTB and risk sensitivities; and/or Liquidity Risk topics such as LCR, NSFR, ILAAP and liquidity stress testing.
- Strong data analysis, documentation and stakeholder management skills, with experience of Agile delivery.

Experience with SQL, Python, Power BI, JIRA, Confluence or risk platforms such as Murex, ActiveViam, Calypso, Axiom or OneSumX would be useful.
