Market Manager – Glass & Glassolutions
Eggborough (primary location) with regular travel to Elland, customer sites and occasional wider travel
Saint-Gobain Glass and Glassolutions are looking for a commercially minded Marketing Manager to drive strategic and tactical marketing activity across two distinct but closely connected businesses.
This is a high-profile role sitting at the centre of market insight, customer understanding, product marketing and business growth. You'll work closely with sales, technical, R&D and leadership teams to identify emerging market trends, develop targeted campaigns and ensure our products and propositions are positioned effectively across both commercial and domestic markets.
With significant investment in marketing technology, including the transition to Salesforce Marketing Cloud, this role offers the opportunity to help shape how we engage with customers and target key market segments in the future.
What we’re looking for:
We're looking for an individual who combines strong commercial awareness with genuine curiosity about customers and markets.
- You'll be someone who naturally builds relationships, asks questions, influences stakeholders and takes ownership without needing close supervision.
- Experience in product marketing, market management or strategic marketing roles
- Strong understanding of customer segmentation and targeted media campaigns
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and make recommendations
- Ability to influence and build relationships at all levels of an organisation
- Able to self-motivate and be proactive with the drive to seek out insights and opportunities

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
