This full-time role offers an excellent opportunity to launch your career in market research within a supportive and inclusive team. Based in the Nottingham offices, you’ll gain hands-on experience while completing a Level 4 Market Research Apprenticeship with comprehensive training and support throughout.
Project Coordination and Management
- Fieldwork planning and supervision
- Sample handling, including managing local product sourcing & shipment, plus subcontractors
- Programming and reviewing screeners, questionnaires, and/or respondent instructions
- Tracking and monitoring questionnaire completion
- Assisting with project/results delivery
- Client communication
People
- Close collaboration with other internal departments
- Liaising with our international colleagues
- Increasing exposure to clients
- Working with consumers
Apprenticeships include time away from working for specialist training. You’ll study to gain professional knowledge and skills.
Course contents
- Liaise with and manage clients, stakeholders, internal teams, and external suppliers to deliver required outcomes.
- Undertake data collection, data analysis, data presentation, and data storage including analysis and validation of the outputs from primary or secondary research data sources.
- Interpret, prepare, and communicate research findings such as presentations, reports, and workshops.
- Make evidence-based recommendations from research results.
- Use communications skills and techniques such as negotiation, collaboration, problem solving, and decision making.
- Interpret research objectives and translate into research design and implementation.
- Use digital and IT software packages relevant to the role.
- Use research/survey software to gather audience insight and/or evaluation such as SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solutions).
- Select and use appropriate research design techniques.
- Evaluate data and research findings to derive insights to support improvements to future research projects.

The apprenticeship training will be delivered by Swarm Training, a national provider of apprenticeships across the UK. The successful candidate will work towards the Level 4 Market Research qualification, which typically takes 15-18 months to complete, including assessments.

As part of the apprenticeship requirements, 6 hours per week minimum will be allocated to self-study and off-the-job learning, supported by regular guidance from a dedicated tutor.
A Level in:
- Sciences (grade na)
