Market Research Assistant

Location: East Riding of Yorkshire

Salary: £30,000 + benefits

Sector: Construction

Full time:

  • Monday to Thursday: 8.30-5
  • Friday is a 4pm finish

This role offers flexibility with remote / hybrid working


Elevation Recruitment Group is recruiting for a Market Research Assistant to join a well-established and highly regarded business within the construction sector. This varied role will support the Business Development & Analytics team, with a focus on market research, data, CRM management, and business intelligence.

You’ll play an important role in identifying new business opportunities, supporting sales activity, and providing accurate market information to help shape commercial decisions. There is also an exciting opportunity to use AI and emerging technology to improve research, efficiency, and business insights.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct market and competitor research to identify new opportunities.
  • Research and maintain accurate prospect, customer, and market data.
  • Manage and update CRM records.
  • Gather and analyse data to support business development and lead generation.
  • Provide market intelligence and research findings to the wider team.
  • Monitor industry frameworks and relevant opportunities.
  • Use AI tools to enhance research and data analysis.
  • Produce reports and maintain high standards of data quality.
  • Work closely with Business Development, Sales, and Analytics teams.

We’re looking for someone who is curious, analytical, and highly organised, with strong attention to detail and an interest in using data to identify commercial opportunities.

Ideal Candidate

  • Experience in market research, business development, sales support, data administration, or a similar role.
  • CRM and data management experience.
  • Strong research and analytical skills.
  • Good Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills.
  • An interest in AI and new technology.
