More About The Role
Our fresh in-store bakeries are a huge part of what makes Market Street special. From fresh bread and rolls to baps, barms, cobs, and jam doughnuts, our Bakers craft delicious baked goods every single day.
In this role, you’ll be on hand to:
- Put customers first: Deliver friendly, helpful service that highlights the fresh bakery products we offer every shift.
- Prepare quality baked goods: Bake and prepare a wide range of breads, rolls, doughnuts, and fruited products to company specification.
- Maintain vibrant displays: Keep fresh, attractive bakery displays fully stocked throughout the trading day to ensure product availability.
- Keep operations safe and smooth: Operate bakery equipment safely, maintain high health and safety standards, and support other fresh counters when needed.

- Loves helping people: Warm, friendly, and always willing to go the extra mile to support customers and resolve queries.
- Works flexibly with the team: Happy to lend a helping hand across other Market Street fresh counters to support store colleagues.
