The Role

The Marketing Administration Assistant is a pivotal role within the Marketing and Business Development team in Hamilton & Inches. This is an exciting, all-encompassing role across all aspects of event activities, digital and marketing, supporting growth and development in the business.

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Marketing Administration Assistant to support our marketing team in delivering impactful campaigns, maintaining our brand presence, and ensuring smooth day-to-day operations. This role is ideal for someone passionate about luxury retail and keen to build a career in marketing within a prestigious brand.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and schedule marketing campaigns, events, and promotional activities - acting as the link to external suppliers and the core Hamilton & Inches team
  • Under the direction of the Head of department, oversee content creation and management across social media, the website, and email marketing platforms
  • Assist with and conduct product photography using our in-house equipment and light box
  • Oversee the deliverables on the marketing calendar and ensure deadlines are met, alerting the Head of Marketing to any challenges
  • Carry out data entry, reporting, and CRM updates
  • Liaise with external suppliers, clients, and partners as required
  • Help coordinate photoshoots, press events, and in-store experiences as and when required
  • Maintain an organised filing system for digital and physical marketing assets
  • Track stock and usage of marketing collateral and printed materials
  • Support with corporate orders and repairs ensuring exceptional client experience at all times
  • Work as a key member of the Hamilton & Inches team, looking for opportunities for the Marketing team to deliver for Hamilton & Inches, providing ideas and suggestions based on your experience

  • Previous experience in a marketing, administrative, or retail support role preferred
  • Excellent communication and organisational skills
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office; experience with Adobe Creative Suite and email platforms a plus
  • A team player with a flexible and proactive attitude
  • Interest in luxury goods, jewellery, or fashion is highly desirable
  • Educated with formal qualifications to Higher Level or equivalent
  • Curious and growth-focused - this is a role for someone who wants to do each element of their role well and looks for opportunities to do things better
  • A team player with a flexible and proactive attitude - Hamilton & Inches is a small team, made up of talented and committed individuals, and being able to contribute to this will be critical to delivering in this role.
