As a Marketing Administration Executive, you will provide accurate, engaging, and timely communications to our guests for each of our new restaurant and pub openings across several mediums including print, digital and press. You will be responsible for ensuring new openings across the Mitchells & Butlers estate are as successful as possible in retaining relevant previous guests and most importantly in attracting new ones, in this busy and challenging role. You will work across several functions executing and helping to refine business processes to deliver a seamless marketing launch for each new opening. You will also be part of a larger planning and production team that supports and drives the bigger picture objectives of the company. This is an implementation role that requires a high degree of flexibility.
Working both in our Birmingham city centre head office and at sites when required, this role is offered on a 12-month fixed term contract due to the project-based nature of the role. You’ll be part of our Central Marketing team, who form part of our wider Brand Marketing department.

The Opportunity – Marketing Administration Executive
- Lead the end-to-end marketing planning and delivery for refurbishments, conversions, and new openings across all Mitchells & Butlers brands, ensuring every project is delivered on time, to budget, and to a consistently high standard.
- Manage multiple investment projects simultaneously, maintaining detailed project plans and critical paths while coordinating all marketing activity, including digital channels, print, PR, and social to ensure every customer touchpoint is accurate, consistent, and launch-ready.
- Partner with brand teams to define the marketing requirements for each project ensuring any site-specific variations are captured, approved, and delivered.
- Build strong relationships with agency partners to ensure all creative, print, photography, PR, and social is delivered to agreed quality standards and timescales.
- Act as the central marketing point of contact for Operations and key stakeholders, providing clear, timely communication on plans, progress, risks, and launch readiness throughout each project.
- Work collaboratively across Marketing, Planning, Production, Optimisation, and wider business functions to support strategic priorities, trading initiatives, and successful campaign delivery.
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities to use AI, workflow tools, and automation to streamline processes, improve efficiency, reduce manual effort, and enhance the delivery of marketing activity.
- Contribute as a key member of the Planning and Production team, supporting continuous improvement initiatives and delivering ad hoc projects that drive business and brand objectives.
- Monitor and review post-launch performance, using insight and analysis to identify opportunities, optimise return on investment, and support underperforming sites.

What you’ll need to bring to the Marketing Administration Executive role:
Just like our brands, our teams are diverse. You’ll have...
- 1-2 years’ experience within a marketing or similar discipline, highly desirable OR Graduate level [any discipline although marketing is desired]
- Self-starting capabilities with experience of, and ability to continuously meet deadlines
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability and experience, managing internal and external relationships
