Student Marketing and Recruitment Assistant

We are seeking a motivated and collaborative individual to join our team as a Student Marketing and Recruitment Assistant. This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to student marketing and recruitment activity across the Faculty of Humanities, supporting the creation and delivery of campaigns that engage prospective students. Working as part of a dynamic and inclusive team, you will develop professional knowledge, skills and experience within higher education administration.

Responsibilities

  • To work under the direction of SMR colleagues (Student Recruitment and Marketing Co-ordinators, Officers or Managers) to support the delivery of Student Marketing and Recruitment projects and campaigns.
  • To support clerical and administration activities following processes and procedures, as directed by the line manager. This will include tasks such as processing student ambassador timesheets.
  • Provide support with CRM activity with prospective students. This support will be administrative (uploading contacts, cleaning and de-duping data following agreed processes), and populating email and message templates with content.
  • Support the production and distribution of communications for prospective students and staff audiences. This will include proof reading colleagues’ work, and checking copy against house-style guidelines.
  • Undertake defined tasks that contribute to supporting the organisation, set-up, delivery and take-down of on-campus events such as open days and school/college visits.

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
