1GC Family Law
1GC Family Law is one of the country's leading specialist family-law chambers. Our team of approximately 23 employees supports 104 barristers, including 13 King's Counsel, in Lincoln's Inn Fields.
We are recruiting a Marketing Administrator to support our marketing, events and communications. A central responsibility will be coordinating our annual Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 submissions and presenting accurate, high-quality information about Chambers and its members.
The varied role also includes supporting seminars, conferences and client events; maintaining website and social-media content; and managing marketing records and materials.
You will be organised, accurate and proactive, with excellent written communication skills and the confidence to coordinate multiple contributors. Legal-sector experience is helpful, but not essential.

Salary:
c.£30-£35k per annum depending upon experience
Hours:
40 per week, Monday to Friday
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinating Chambers and Partners and The Legal 500 submissions, including gathering and checking contributions.
- Maintaining submission timetables and following up outstanding information to meet external deadlines.
- Supporting seminars, conferences and client events, including invitations, RSVPs and logistics.
- Maintaining website and social-media content, including news, articles, events and barrister profile updates.
- Creating straightforward, brand-consistent graphics using Canva, InDesign or similar software.
- Maintaining client information, marketing records, schedules and routine reports.
- Providing responsive administrative support to the Marketing Manager and colleagues across Chambers.
Personal Specification & Competencies Required:
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with confident and accurate proofreading
- Strong organisation and the ability to manage several priorities and contributors
- Excellent attention to detail and a consistently high standard of accuracy
- A proactive, adaptable and collaborative approach
- Professionalism and discretion when handling confidential or commercially sensitive information

Qualifications & Experience:
- Good Microsoft 365 skills particularly Excel.
- Previous clerking or administrative experience in a professional or client-focused office environment
- Events, digital-content or legal-sector experience would be advantageous
