Company Description
Mini First Aid provides baby and child first aid training classes to parents and carers in a relaxed, informal format, focusing on essential skills for emergency situations involving babies and young children. They also deliver classes to chidlren in schools alongside courses for people requiring a work place qualification. The company operates a franchise model with locations available across the UK, offering opportunities for business growth and community impact. In addition to training, Mini First Aid has developed the multi-award-winning Mini First Aid Kit and a range of family first aid products.
Role Description
The Marketing Administrator will support the marketing department in delivering key communications and events. This role will involve the coordination of newsletters, podcasts, partnerships, and managing diary bookings for the management team, as well as assisting with the administration of events & activity. The role is office based in North Leeds & is 30 hours per week/ 4 days flexible.

This is a fixed term up to 12 months, maternity cover position.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Newsletter: Manage the planning, creation, sourcing content for, and scheduling of customer newsletters, ensuring content is engaging and on-brand.
- Customer Blogs: Manage the maintenance, sourcing/ writing, proofreading & posting plan of our customer blogs keeping them relevant & up to date
- Internal Franchisee Newsletter: Coordinate the internal franchisee update newsletter, gathering updates and relevant information from across the business.
- Podcast Administration: Support the planning, booking, collating briefs, and scheduling of Mini First Aid’s podcast, ensuring seamless coordination between guests and the production team. Manage the distribution of the podcast newsletters
- Event & Partnership Coordination: Assist with the planning and execution of activity & events, as well as the management of partnerships and sponsorship activities.
- Email Management: Handle and respond to head office marketing email inquiries.
- Diary Bookings Management: Manage diary bookings for the management team and answer phone inquiries as needed.
- Task Management: Organise and prioritise inbox, calendar, and to-do lists to ensure efficiency in daily operations

Key Skills & Qualifications
- Marketing Experience: Previous experience in marketing administration or coordination is a plus.
- Strong Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential for creating compelling content and engaging with stakeholders.
- Organisational Skills: Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in all aspects of work.
- Team Player: Able to work collaboratively with the marketing team and other departments.
- IT & Design Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with design software (e.g., Canva) is an advantage. Experience with Adobe (InDesign, Photoshop, Acrobat), Mailchimp, Google Ads & Google Analytics is also preferred; however, training will be provided for candidates without prior experience in these tools.
