About Howden Research

Howden Research is an independent, student-led research firm producing original analysis across finance, economics, and STEM.

We are looking for a Content & Marketing Advisor

We are looking for a Content & Marketing Advisor to help shape how Howden communicates its research, develops its brand, and reaches a wider audience. This is a strategic role rather than a conventional social media position.

The Role

You will work alongside the wider team to advise on the way Howden's research is presented, distributed, and positioned externally.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Advising on content strategy
  • Reviewing how research is presented across different channels
  • Developing ideas for campaigns and content series
  • Advising on LinkedIn and digital content
  • Identifying opportunities to increase audience engagement
  • Helping translate complex research into accessible content
  • Advising on brand positioning and communications
  • Analysing content performance and recommending improvements
  • Supporting the Marketing & Outreach Analyst
  • Developing ideas for collaborations and external campaigns

Reasons to use Rodeo

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?

Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.

Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Start with a chat, not a search bar

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
