Marketing Analytics & Performance Analyst

Overview

Our client, an international insurer, is seeking a Marketing Analytics & Performance Analyst to help build reporting and insight capabilities within a newly established Digital Marketing team.

You will analyse performance across website, email, social media and paid activity, turning data into practical recommendations that improve marketing effectiveness and support business decision-making. The role also offers the opportunity to help establish measurement frameworks, reporting standards and performance measures from the ground up.

Responsibilities

  • Produce regular reporting and analysis across website, email, social media and paid marketing channels.
  • Identify opportunities to improve digital performance through data-led analysis and recommendations.
  • Measure and evaluate marketing campaigns against objectives and business outcomes.
  • Analyse customer journeys, lead generation activity and conversion performance where appropriate.
  • Support the development and maintenance of measurement frameworks, tracking approaches and reporting standards.
  • Help establish best practice, performance measures and reporting standards for a new marketing insight function.

Requirements

  • Ability to interpret data and translate findings into practical recommendations and optimisation opportunities.
  • Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including data manipulation, pivot tables and reporting.
  • Understanding of digital measurement principles, including campaign tracking and performance measurement.
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with confidence presenting data and recommendations.
  • Awareness of data governance, KPI frameworks and reporting best practice.
