Marketing Analytics Executive
We are looking for a Marketing Analytics Executive to support both the company’s own digital presence and client engagements.
This is not primarily a content creation or social media marketing role. It is an analytical and increasingly technical digital role working across web analytics, SEO, website performance and emerging AI-mediated search.
The role focuses on understanding how websites are performing, who is using them, how users discover and navigate them, and how data can be translated into practical recommendations for improving content, search visibility, user experience and strategic outcomes.
Our client is looking for a specific skill set and it essential all applications have experience across the following:
- Hands-on experience with Google Analytics 4 specifically
- Experience with Google Search Console (search queries, indexing/coverage, click-through rate and ranking data)
- Applied SEO experience, ideally covering: keyword research, rankings/visibility tracking, technical SEO health (site speed, crawlability, indexing), and backlink/domain authority audits
- Ability to turn raw analytics data into clear reporting and recommendations for non-technical stakeholders.
- A genuine interest in connecting website data to broader business objectives (e.g. what content is attracting which audiences, how they move through the site, what actions they take)
What does the company do?
We are a technology consultancy delivering digital, cloud, data, AI and managed services to organisations across the UK.
How you expect the candidate to spend their day:
- Google Analytics 4 (GA4): review traffic and acquisition by source, medium and channel; landing-page and individual-page performance; engagement and user journeys; geography and device data; new vs returning users; referrals and UTM campaigns; downloads, events and conversions.
- Google Search Console: monitor search queries, page-level organic performance, clicks, impressions, CTR, average position, indexing/coverage, Core Web Vitals and backlink information.
- SEO performance: monitor visibility and rankings across priority themes and search terms, competitor/share-of-search performance, technical SEO health, backlinks/domain authority, and content gaps and opportunities.
- Establish website performance baselines so that the impact of future development and investment can be measured objectively.
- Build and maintain KPI dashboards and regular reporting frameworks, including tools such as Looker Studio.
- Analyse which audiences are finding a website, what content attracts them, how they move through the site, what actions they take and where user journeys can be strengthened.
- Support AI/search visibility analysis, including AI referral traffic, visibility/citation against agreed questions and topics, accuracy of representation in AI-generated answers, crawlability and discoverability.
- Review structured data/schema, entity signals, content structure and authority from an AI/search discovery perspective.
- Help develop a methodology and baseline for Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), LLM visibility and emerging AI search channels.
- Translate data into clear recommendations for content, UX, SEO and technical website development.
- Work with internal teams, client stakeholders, external developers and agencies, using evidence to identify issues, opportunities and priorities.
- Support prioritised website roadmaps and recommendations for future development phases.
- Apply the same capabilities to our own website, digital performance and lead-generation activity as well as client projects.

I’m in my final year doing Economics and I don’t know whether to apply for grad schemes now or do a masters first. What do you think?
Honest answer — it depends on where you want to end up. A lot of top grad schemes (Big 4, civil service, banking) don’t need a masters. Let’s look at the ones you’d be competitive for now, and we can decide if a masters actually adds anything.
Also worth knowing: most autumn 2026 applications are open now. Timing matters more than you think.

Grad scheme, placement, apprenticeship? Not sure what you want yet — that's fine. Your agent talks it through with you and turns "I have no idea" into a shortlist.
