Marketing and Admin Assistant
We're recruiting for a Marketing and Admin Assistant for a London-based Events business.
This is the ideal entry-level role for a recent graduate or a candidate with anything from around 3 months to 3 years experience in Marketing, Administration, Customer Service, Reception that wants a progressive position where they can work alongside a Marketing Manager and experienced Marketing Assistant.
They can create the role around the candidate's experience. The most important things they want are strong communication, enjoy building relationships, and want a role in Marketing team where they can progress long-term.
The role is a split of Admin duties within Marketing department, the rest is focused on Marketing duties for the company and for clients booking corporate events - social media posting, blogs, email invitations, email campaigns.
So open to a very junior profile with the right attitude who is keen to learn, so someone who already has got some experience but still can progress and learn.
Salary
£26k - £30k is on offer. There is progression in the role and long-term development.

Location
London office but fully remote in UK. VISA or sponsorship is not available. No travel is required for the role.
The HQ of this company is based in Dubai. As this is a remote role in UK, their internal process prefers a candidate to undertake an identity and compliance check as part of interview process. Full information on their process will be explained by the recruiter as part of our recruitment process.
Marketing Responsibilities (approx. 50%)
- Social Media Management: Schedule and publish daily content across channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook). Monitor engagement and respond to direct messages.
- Content Creation: Support graphic designer and can also create your own projects on Canva. This would be for client events, webinars, and company focused marketing.
- Email Marketing: Assist in assembling newsletters, formatting layouts, and updating client invitation lists.
- Website Upkeep: Upload blogs and help create / create articles to increase brand awareness.
- Reporting: Track and log basic marketing performance metrics using Google Analytics and social media insights.

Administrative & Operations Support (approx. 50%)
- Inbox & Calendar Management: Monitor the generic company inbox, flag urgent inquiries, and coordinate team calendars.
- Data & CRM Maintenance: Keep the customer relationship management (CRM) system clean by logging new leads and updating client contact information.
- Documentation & Filing: Create, format, and organize digital documents, presentations, and spreadsheets.
- Meeting Coordination: Schedule internal and external Zoom/Teams meetings, prepare agendas, and take detailed minutes.
Required Skills & Experience
- Tech-Savvy: Proficiency in teams and email inboxes. Ability to pick up systems easily and communicate with teams using Slack.
- Marketing Tools: Familiarity with Canva (not essential). Experience with systems like MailChimp is also beneficial.
- Communication: Exceptional written and verbal English communication skills with an eye for proofreading.
- Time Management: Proven ability to juggle creative marketing tasks alongside structured administrative deadlines while working independently from home.
