About the Team

Join EY’s Channel Islands Marketing and Business Development team in a varied and engaging role supporting marketing, business development, pursuits, events, and communications activity. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys working across multiple initiatives, building strong organisational skills, and gaining exposure to how a leading professional services firm goes to market.

You will work closely with Managers and Directors, contributing to high-quality delivery, supporting client-facing activity, and helping ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of marketing and business development across the Channel Islands.

Responsibilities

Marketing and Business Development Support

  • Support the delivery of agreed marketing and business development initiatives across the Channel Islands.
  • Assist with the planning, coordination, and execution of marketing campaigns and activity.

Events and Sponsorship

  • Support end-to-end event delivery, including pre-event planning, logistics, and follow-up.
  • Draft and manage invitations, reminder campaigns, and post-event communications.
  • Manage RSVPs and attendance tracking.
  • Liaise with venues and third-party suppliers.
  • Provide front-of-house support at events, including registration and hosting.
  • Book delegate places for external conferences and seminars.
  • Support the delivery of corporate responsibility events and initiatives.

Collateral and Brand Management

  • Maintain up-to-date marketing collateral and materials.
  • Format documents and ensure content is correctly branded.
  • Assist with the creation and updating of marketing and proposal collateral.
  • Sourcing and stock management of branded merchandise.

Digital Marketing

  • Support the creation and delivery of targeted marketing campaigns using Marketo.
  • Produce campaign reports and support analysis of results.
  • Assist with updates to the ey.com/ci homepage and other local digital content.
  • Create and schedule social media content.

Data and Reporting

  • Ensure contact details, activities, and opportunities are kept up to date in the CRM system.
  • Generate marketing reports and target lists from the CRM.
  • Maintain data accuracy and support reporting requirements.

Budgeting and Administration

  • Contribute to the annual budgeting process by researching event costs and supplier options.
  • Track event-related spend and support cost management.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Marketing and Business Development team.
  • Support meeting coordination, actions, and follow-ups as required.

  • Strong organisational skills with excellent attention to detail.
  • Confident written communication and ability to work across multiple priorities.
  • Comfortable working with systems, data and processes.
  • Proactive, reliable and keen to learn within a professional services environment.
  • Strong team player with a collaborative approach.
  • Due to local work and housing permissions, candidates must hold a British passport and be a resident of the island, or already hold the correct permissions to live and work on the island.
