About Proven Forge
Proven Forge is a growing UK-based interior products business, initially focused on wallcoverings, wallpaper sourcing, supply and professional installation. We are building relationships with interior designers, design studios, hospitality businesses, decorators, property professionals and residential clients across the UK, with plans to expand into complementary interior products over time. We are looking for a Marketing & Business Development Intern who is creative, proactive and commercially minded, and who wants hands-on experience helping build an early-stage business.
Role responsibilities
Marketing
- Support Proven Forge's LinkedIn and Instagram presence
- Create engaging social media content using Canva and similar tools
- Develop ideas for posts, reels and other visual content
- Help maintain a consistent brand identity
- Engage with relevant interior, design and hospitality communities
- Support marketing campaigns and promotional activities

Business Development
- Identify and connect with potential B2B clients and partners
- Reach out to interior designers, design studios, decorators, hospitality businesses and relevant showrooms
- Assist with LinkedIn and email outreach
- Follow up with prospects and maintain professional relationships
- Help generate and qualify potential business opportunities
- Support the development of Proven Forge's trade network
- Maintain prospect and CRM information
- Help arrange introductory conversations and meetings
Ideal candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Has an interest in marketing, business development, sales, interiors, design or entrepreneurship
- Is confident communicating professionally
- Is creative and comfortable creating content
- Has an interest in social media and digital marketing
- Is proactive and willing to take initiative
- Is organised and detail-oriented
- Can work independently and manage assigned tasks
- Is comfortable learning new tools and processes
- Wants practical experience rather than simply an internship title
