Business Development, Marketing & Social Media Intern
Location: Barcelona, Spain (Office-based, with hybrid flexibility)
Term: Academic Year (Sept/Oct 2026 – Jun/Jul 2027 | Approx. 9–10 months) - Placement Year
Start Date: September / October 2026
Reports To: Founder
About the Role
This internship is a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience marketing specialist professional services to a demanding, high-value audience, principally high-net-worth individuals in the US and UK who are looking to relocate to Spain.
Working directly with the Founder, you will play a central role in building campaigns and sales funnels, creating engaging content, researching target prospects, and growing our online presence across social and digital channels.
This position is ideal for a creative, organised, and self-motivated individual who writes fluent, clear English and is comfortable converting complex technical services into polished, credible marketing, free from hype.
Key Responsibilities
- Campaigns & Funnels: Assist in building, managing, and optimizing marketing campaigns and lead funnels.
- Content Creation & Scheduling: Produce, schedule, and manage content across key social channels, with a strong focus on LinkedIn and YouTube.
- Collateral & Multimedia: Help draft digital brochures and support the production of video and audio content highlighting the firm’s services.
- Prospect Research: Research and construct target lead lists focused on high-net-worth individuals in the US and UK.
- CRM & Pipeline Tracking: Support lead management, pipeline tracking, and data maintenance in Odoo CRM.
- Copywriting: Draft clear, engaging, and accurate marketing copy in plain, professional English.
- Analytics & Reporting: Track key performance indicators (reach, engagement, enquiries) and deliver concise reports on performance.
- Brand Consistency: Ensure all public-facing content aligns with brand guidelines and tone of voice. (Note: All external communications require review prior to sending, unless standard pre-approved replies).

Qualifications & Requirements
Essential
- Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience). WITH A YEAR IN INDUSTRY AS PART OF THE DEGREE.
- Strong proficiency in social media platforms and digital content creation tools (e.g., Canva).
- Exceptional written English skills with a sharp eye for clear, compelling, and honest copywriting.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to take initiative and manage a content calendar independently.
- Adaptable learner comfortable picking up new software and digital tools quickly.

Desirable (Bonus Skills)
- Basic video editing and short-form video creation skills (e.g., Reels, Shorts).
- Interest in professional services, finance, cross-border tax, or international relocation.
- Prior exposure to CRMs (e.g., Odoo, HubSpot) or email marketing tools.
- Working knowledge of Spanish.
