Job Advertisement: Director, Asset Servicing Marketing

Location: City of London
Contract Type: 12 months

Our client, a leading player in the financial services sector, is seeking an experienced marketing leader to step into the role of Director, Asset Servicing Marketing on a fixed-term basis. This exciting opportunity involves leading business and product marketing across the organisation's Asset Servicing platform. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in translating business strategy into impactful market positioning, client-focused messaging, and integrated marketing programmes that drive commercial success.

Key Responsibilities

As the Director of Asset Servicing Marketing, the successful candidate will be responsible for:

Business & Product Marketing Leadership

  • Crafting and executing the business and product marketing strategy for Asset Servicing.
  • Developing unique positioning, messaging, and value propositions that set the organisation apart.
  • Creating integrated marketing plans that align with growth and client retention objectives.

Business Partnership

  • Acting as a trusted advisor to Asset Servicing leadership and collaborating with key stakeholders.
  • Partnering with product, sales, and client-facing teams to ensure alignment of marketing activities with business priorities.
  • Gaining insights into client needs, market trends, and competitive dynamics.

Content & Thought Leadership

  • Overseeing the creation of compelling content that enhances market positioning.
  • Supporting senior executives with key messaging and strategic communications.
  • Tailoring content for various client segments and buying journeys.

Client & Market Insights

  • Utilising client feedback and market research to inform marketing strategies.
  • Identifying opportunities for strengthening market positioning and supporting growth.
  • Converting market insights into actionable recommendations.

Cross Collaboration

  • Connecting Asset Servicing capabilities with broader organisational solutions.
  • Contributing to integrated client narratives across the firm.

Measurement & Governance

  • Monitoring campaign effectiveness and performance against objectives.
  • Supporting reporting and business impact assessment while ensuring compliance with all regulations.

Required

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Significant experience in financial services marketing or related fields.
  • Strong understanding of institutional financial services and asset servicing.
  • Proven track record of developing successful product positioning and marketing campaigns.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Preferred

  • Experience within asset servicing, securities services, or institutional banking.
  • Familiarity with product lifecycle marketing and sales enablement.
  • Knowledge of emerging trends impacting financial markets, including digital assets and AI.
