Please note that we are hiring for two equivalent Marketing and Communications Director positions for both Jaguar and Range Rover brands, with each role dedicated to leading the communications and brand narrative of its respective marque.
What To Expect
Reporting directly to the Managing Director for either Jaguar or Range Rover, this role is accountable for the full brand communications agenda, defining the brand narrative, setting the strategic brief, and ensuring all global execution delivers commercial impact and aligns with brand positioning and ambition.
Ensuring coherence of the brand's voice across markets, channels, stakeholders, and creative partners, the role acts as the guardian of brand integrity, translating strategy into compelling communications that build awareness, drive consideration, and strengthen customer engagement.
Working cross-functionally with marketing, product, commercial and regional teams, the postholder will lead the development of integrated campaigns, oversee agency partnerships, and measure effectiveness against clear business objectives, ensuring Jaguar's marketing and communications continue to reinforce its transformation, differentiation and long-term growth ambitions.
THE ROLE
Key Responsibilities
- Accountable for the brand comms roadmap: define the brand’s global comms roadmap, and narrative, ensuring it is distinctive, coherent, and commercially grounded, including talent, cultural partnerships and branded goods.
- Drive the strategic inputs to the creative & comms process: set briefs, approve strategic & creative direction, and ensure early alignment with brand strategy & CID CoE to ensure there is the budget, capability & resource capacity available to achieve plans. Support through PRODUCTION and MEASUREMENT phases of DIPAM. Represent the brand throughout entire process.
- Set and approve the integrated brief: translate brand strategy into a sharp, insight-driven brief for the COE and the integrated agency, ensuring clarity on audience, message, assets, and outcomes.
- Partner with regions: work closely with regional brand and marketing teams to shape briefs and develop solutions that meet local market needs while maintaining global brand integrity. Ensure global assets are effectively adapted for regional use, oversee the creation of bespoke solutions where required, and drive alignment between global and regional teams throughout the development process.
- Oversee creative & media plan development: approve creative direction, media plan, and content roadmap developed in partnership with C&I and the integrated agency.
- Ensure brand coherence across markets: in partnership with brand creative, guard the brand’s voice, visual identity, and narrative across all markets, channels, and touchpoints. Align regional teams to ensure all activities ladder up to support Global plan and objectives.
- Define performance expectations: set brand health & funnel targets; ensure measurement and optimisation are embedded from the start.
- Commission and apply insight: use insight, analytics, and brand health data to shape strategy, briefs, and optimisation.
- Own brand FMI budget: define the brand’s comms investment priorities and ensure spend aligns to strategic outcomes. Responsible for regional allocation, supported by CoE intelligence.
- Drive launch readiness: ensure the brand is consistently represented across product launches, campaigns, and major moments.
- Brand spokesperson: serve as a spokesperson for the brand – internally & externally.

- Brand Strategy and Brand Design: To make sure the marketing, and comms and PR strategies align with the overarching brand strategy and creative vision.
- Regional Brand and Comms leads: Voice of the market.
What You’ll Need

- Strategic brand & comms leadership: Translates brand strategy into a clear, distinctive global comms direction and integrated brief.
- Modern media & cultural fluency: Strong grasp of media, culture, and channels, and how to orchestrate them for impact.
