We are seeking a brilliant Marketing and Communications Manager with great Hospitality marketing experience to support the Head of Marketing & Sales and wider team in delivering the marketing, PR, communications and content strategy across El Pastor restaurants, El Siete, El Pastor retail & delivery, Quo Vadis, and The Drop Bars, in Soho, London.

The Marketing and Communications Manager role
The candidate will have at least 3 years’ experience, or equivalent experience, managing marketing and communications within the hospitality, food or drinks industry. Strong copywriting and marketing skills, exceptional attention to detail, and excellent written and verbal communication are essential. The ability to adapt content to different brand voices and styles, alongside experience managing social media channels and planning content, is important. Experience working across multiple brands or sites is preferred.

The role works closely with the Head of Marketing & Sales, Digital Marketing Manager, Sales Managers and Operational teams, with responsibility for:
- Acting as a brand guardian across all Harts Group brands, ensuring brand positioning, guidelines, tone of voice and visual identity are consistently maintained across all channels and materials.
- Creating copy and content for social media, newsletters, websites and campaigns, adapting it to each brand and supporting integrated activity across digital, social, PR and print.
- Working with external design agencies to ensure all creative assets are on-brand, while managing and organising brand assets and content so they are easily accessible to the wider team.
- Supporting restaurant launches, new concepts, seasonal campaigns and key activations, working closely with Operational, Sales and Digital teams.
- Supporting local marketing activity while maintaining strong overall brand standards.
- Managing day-to-day social media across all Harts Group brands, including Instagram, TikTok and Facebook.
- Building and maintaining monthly and quarterly content calendars, aligned with the PR and communications strategy and key dates including openings, launches, press coverage and awards.
- Planning, creating and scheduling content, working with Operational and Sales teams and freelance photographers or videographers where required.
- Organising and leading photoshoots, content creation, activations and promotional events, and ensuring news, events, press coverage and awards are shared across social channels in a timely and appropriate way.
- Cultivating and maintaining relationships with key media contacts, including journalists, editors and broadcast producers across food, drink, hospitality and lifestyle media.
- Developing and pitching story angles for each brand, securing coverage across print, digital and broadcast, and acting as the first point of contact for routine media enquiries.
- Monitoring media coverage and sentiment, identifying risks and opportunities and keeping the Head of Marketing & Sales informed.
- Coordinating journalist and press visits, tastings and briefings across all sites.
- Managing agreed marketing budgets, monitoring campaign performance and social media insights, and using data to continually improve activity.
- Supporting and developing a Marketing Executive, with regular check-ins and guidance across media relations, social media, copywriting and event coordination.
