Bethany School is a co-educational day and boarding school for learners aged 11 to 18, committed to preparing young people for life in a changing world. Role Description

The Marketing and Communications Manager is a full-time, on-site role based at Bethany School in Tonbridge. This role is responsible for planning and delivering the school’s marketing and communications strategy to enhance brand visibility, support pupil recruitment, and strengthen engagement with families, staff, alumni, and the wider community. Qualifications

  • Experience in marketing management, communications, or a related field, preferably within education or a values-driven organization.
  • Strong skills in digital marketing, including website content management, social media management, and email marketing platforms.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to craft clear, engaging, and audience-appropriate content.
  • Ability to develop and implement marketing and communications plans aligned with organizational goals.
  • Competence in basic design and layout tools (e.g., Canva, Adobe Creative Cloud or similar) and familiarity with branding principles.
  • Strong project management and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize, meet deadlines, and manage multiple initiatives.
  • Comfort collaborating with a wide range of stakeholders, including pupils, staff, families, and external partners.
  • Analytical skills to interpret marketing data, track campaign performance, and suggest improvements based on evidence.
  • Proficiency in standard office software (e.g., Microsoft Office or Google Workspace).
